Peoples wine knowledge these days has increased immensely with the increase of Wine availability from all over the world. Below is an indication of what is included in the day:

The qualification introduces candidates to:

  • The main styles of wine
  • The characteristics of the major grape varieties
  • Systematic approach to tasting
  • Service and retail of wine
  • Health, Safety and legal issues
  • The matching of food and wine

On successfully completing the course and the 30 multiple choice question paper, candidates will be awarded the Level 1 qualification.
