• It's specifically designed for those working in nightlife environments, including bar staff, security personnel, and hospitality teams.

• The course covers how to recognise signs of vulnerability and how to respond appropriately using the Ask for Angela initiative.

Duration 2 hours

This 2-hour mandatory Licensing Training course is designed for staff working in premises where alcohol, entertainment, or late-night refreshment is sold or provided in Scotland. It ensures that employees are fully informed about their responsibilities under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 and other relevant legislation.

This Responsible Sale of Alcohol Scotland online course is designed to help bartenders, waiters, shopkeepers, and anyone else who serves alcohol as part of their job understand and comply with the laws and regulations in Scotland.

Our course covers a wide range of topics, including legal requirements, responsible service practices, and strategies for preventing sales to minors and intoxicated individuals. Whether you are a new employee or a manager looking to update your training, this course is an essential tool for ensuring that your business operates in a responsible and compliant manner.

6-8 hours online course

Our online Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (SCPLH) course is designed to provide individuals with the necessary knowledge and qualifications to apply for a personal licence to sell alcohol in Scotland. This fully accredited course covers essential topics such as the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, legal responsibilities, the prevention of alcohol misuse, and more, all delivered through interactive online modules.

Please note, although all of the modules can be accessed online, the exam is required to be sat face-to-face at our training centre in Westhill. However, there is the option to complete this over teams.

Our Drink Spiking Awareness course is designed to equip individuals, especially those involved in the beverage service industry, with essential knowledge to address the concerning issue of drink spiking.

In the UK, the actual prevalence of drink spiking remains elusive due to underreporting and challenges in detecting drugs that may leave the system quickly. This course takes a proactive approach by educating participants about the signs, risks, and consequences of drink spiking, enabling them to swiftly identify suspicious behaviour and respond effectively.

The SVQ / REHIS Scottish Certificate for Personnel Licence Holders Refresher Course (SCQF Level 6) is designed to provide an update on key knowledge and regulatory requirements for individuals who hold or are renewing their Personal Licence in Scotland. This course ensures compliance with the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, focusing on the responsible sale of alcohol and public safety.

Please note, although all of the modules can be accessed online, the exam is required to be sat face-to-face at our training centre in Westhill. However, there is the option to complete this over teams.
