Celebrating at the Falls By Orry Shand

Towards the end of July our team had the pleasure of dining at the much anticipated new restaurant, Falls by Orry Shand. Orry and his team joined as members ahead of the opening and we were delighted to have supported him with SCPLH, staff licensing training, first aid and cooksafe implementation.

The evening marked a very special occasion as we celebrated Karen's remarkable 30th work anniversary at Hospitality Training as general manager. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every aspect of the experience had been thoughtfully considered.

The setting is beautiful, with every detail expertly curated, from the glassware and tableware to the cutlery and interiors, creating a warm, elegant and welcoming atmosphere.

The seasonal tasting menu and curated experience was exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented, bursting with flavour, and showcased remarkable creativity and technical skill. Each course reflected the care, precision and passion that define truly outstanding hospitality. Orry and his team created warm welcome which was so personal it was like being invited by a friend for dinner.

It was the perfect way to celebrate Karen's incredible milestone while experiencing what is sure to become one of the region's standout dining destinations. An unforgettable evening, exceptional food and wonderful company of the team from Hospitality training and some of the board members combined to make the occasion all the more special.
