Celebrating Our Own: Orry Shand Represents Scotland on Great British Menu

We are incredibly proud to share that one of our own committee members, Orry Shand, is representing Scotland in the current season of the Great British Menu.

A highly respected figure within the North East’s culinary community, Orry has long been recognised for his passion, creativity, and commitment to excellence. His dedication to showcasing the very best of Scottish produce and talent makes him a fantastic ambassador not only for the region, but for Scotland as a whole.

The Great British Menu is one of the UK’s most prestigious culinary competitions, bringing together some of the nation’s most talented chefs to compete for a place at a spectacular banquet. To be selected is a significant achievement—and a true testament to Orry’s skill and reputation within the industry.

As a valued member of our committee, Orry has consistently contributed his time, expertise, and enthusiasm to support and inspire others within the profession. Seeing him step onto a national stage is a proud moment for us all.
