Our Apprentice Oliver Redgwell Welch is a finalist in the Modern Apprentice of the Year Awards

We’re delighted to share that our Modern Apprentice candidate, Oliver Redgwell Welch, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Modern Apprentice of the Year – Level 5 category at the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards

There was never any doubt that Oliver deserved our nomination. While all of our apprentices over the years have been a pleasure to support, many achieving fantastic things, Oliver has truly stood out this year. He is one of the most talented young chefs in Scotland right now.

His achievements over the past 12 months alone speak for themselves, including:

NE Scotland Seafood Chef of the Year

Young Scottish Chef of the Year at ScotHot

Craft Guild of Chefs UK – Runner-up, National Young Chef of the Year

Oliver has been expertly guided and supported throughout his journey by his employer Entier Limited and his Hospitality Training Assessor Gerard Rattray.

Winners will be announced at the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards on Thursday 26 February at The Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow, kicking off Scottish Apprenticeship Week (2–6 March). More details coming soon!
